At Marun Petrochemical Company, various stages of the production
processes are controlled by advanced Distributed Control System
(DCS) technology. In addition, modern laboratories continuously
monitor and control the quality of the products.
Moreover, other plants and units, such as safety and firefighting,
medical emergency services, central workshop, instrumentation,
telecommunication, electricity distribution, and warehouses (which
are the largest across the Petrochemical Special Economic Zone), as
well as offsite and utility services—including steam, cooling water
supply, raw material and product storage tanks, flare systems, and
intra-complex pipelines—operate 24/7 in tandem with the process
plants.
